The YSV104 series of electric violins was designed by Yamaha to be used for practicing purposes. The YSV104 uses the Yamaha SRT power system that has been critically acclaimed in Yamaha’s Silent Guitar models. Engineers have carefully optimized the left and right channel volume, frequency response and delay to give a player the most realist acoustic tones through their headphones.

Every Silent Practice violin comes with a control box with volume and reverb settings, 2 1/8 inch connection cables, and a set of Yamaha earbuds.
