The Hawk is one of Washburns most recognizable designs a bold double-cutaway shape that helped define the original Wing Series in the late 1970s. The H10TS-U carries that legacy forward with updated construction, modern playability, and a rich Tobacco Burst finish that stays true to the spirit of the original.
The Wing Series body shape is not just visually distinctive. Its deep double cutaway offers excellent upper-fret access, making the Hawk a strong choice for players who want comfort and freedom higher up the neck. This model pairs a swamp ash body with a 3-piece hard maple and walnut neck-through design and a rosewood fretboard, creating a guitar with strong resonance, clarity, and sustain.
Tone and Electronics
The Hawk H10TS-U is equipped with dual zebra high-output humbuckers in an H/H configuration, delivering punch, warmth, clarity, and strong midrange presence. Clean tones stay defined and articulate, while overdriven sounds retain note separation and character.
Its control layout gives players added flexibility, with two volume controls, two tone controls, and push/pull coil split functionality for expanded tonal range. A 3-way toggle selector makes it easy to move between neck, bridge, and combined pickup settings on the fly.

The H10TS-U features the Buzz Feiten Tuning System (BFTS), designed to improve intonation across the fretboard by addressing common tuning compromises found in standard guitar setups.
