One of the first Gold Label models built with a Grand Concert body, this custom guitar pairs a striking stripy sinker redwood top with Indian rosewood back and sides. The Grand Concert shape has been reimagined with added depth at the soundhole, delivering a fuller voice with enhanced projection and presence.
Harvested from old-growth logs reclaimed from Californias coastal rivers, sinker redwood takes on unique mineral patterns from years submerged in silt, resulting in the distinctive striping and rich coloration showcased on this soundboard. Tonally, it offers a warm, cedar-like character with impressive projection, beautifully balanced by rosewoods deep lows and sparkling highs.
Inside, fanned V-Class bracing adds warmth and expands the low-end response, while the long-tenon Action Control Neck allows for quick, precise adjustments to string height. Elegant details like ivoroid binding, faux tortoiseshell accents, and ebony appointments complete the look, blending vintage-inspired style with modern refinement.
