FAQ
Will these fit my guitar?
They drop into most Les Paul, SG, ESstyle, and other guitars with standard humbucker routes and mounting rings. Directmount or nonstandard rings may require minor fitting.
Are the pickups wax potted?
Custom Shop aging and construction are designed for the right vintage character and performance. Potting approach follows the Bonamassa spec for this project.
Can I coilsplit them?
Some production runs may ship 4conductor for split/parallel options; others use vintage braided lead. Check the lead type on your set (or ask us).
Whats included?
Neck and bridge pickups (aged nickel), mounting screws/springs; early numbered sets include bottom plates signed by Joe Bonamassa and Seymour W. Duncan.
Wiring notes
- If your set has vintage braided 2conductor leads: use classic humbucker wiring (no coilsplit). Start with 500k pots and a .022F tone cap.
- If your set has 4conductor leads: stock series wiring; add a push/pull or minitoggle for coilsplit or series/parallel.
