Roland has continued to develop its guitar synthesizer systems over the years. Nothing seems to compare to the original however, with it’s 24 pin analog connection providing incredible tracking and that amazing, vintage tone. Today in 2026 you’d be lucky to find one of these in working condition. Both the guitar and pedal have been previously loved, but remain completely functional.
Restrung and setup with NYXL 0942s, the G505 has plenty of life left in it’s frets. It sports a few dings in it’s finish, and is missing one original knob. A trem arm is not included. The G505 comes in it’s original case.
The GR-700 is in fantastic condition for it’s age, especially when you consider it is always being stepped on. The GR-700 shows minor cosmetic wear consistent with its age and stage use, but the buttons remain functional and responsive.
Collectors of vintage Roland gear know the challenge: original C-24 cables are nearly impossible to find. This package includes a high-quality replacement sourced from Magic Trashman, a meticulously 3D-printed recreation made by hand in North Carolina that faithfully reproduces the original’s function.
