PRS Brazilian Series McCarty #490 of 500 in Natural finish made in 2003 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body with a quilted maple 10 top, mahogany neck and Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with a Brazilian rosewood overlay headstock w/ “Brazilian” green abalone ripple inlay & Brazilian rosewood truss rod cover. Equipped with a PRS McCarty Bass humbucker in the neck position and a PRS McCarty Treble humbucker in the bridge position. Controlled by 1 volume pot, 1 tone pot with push/pull coil tap and a 3-Way toggle switch. The 25″ scale length neck has abalone birds inlays and white side markers with 22 frets on a 10″ radius with a wide thin profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Kluson vintage-style tuning machines with keystone heads, a synthetic bronze powder blend nut, a PRS compensated wraparound stoptail bridge and amber speed knobs.
This guitar is in overall excellent condition. It is #490 from a limited run in 2003 of 500. The headstock has a few surface marks and some dents on the truss rod cover. The body has belt rash on the back and a few dings on the sides. There is some cloudy finish towards the neck joint on the neck and on some corners of the body. (See pics)
