ESP E-II Horizon FR-II instrumentsformerly the ESP Standard Seriesare handcrafted in Japan at the ESP Guitars factory by master builders. This Horizon FR-II stuns in Andromeda II Satin, a chameleon finish that shifts from blue to purple, green, and gold as the light moves.
Built with set-thru construction on a 25.5 scale, it delivers seamless, unhindered access to the highest frets. The tonewood recipe pairs a mahogany body with a maple cap for punch and clarity, while a three-piece Thin U maple neck and ebony fingerboard fitted with 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets ensure speed, precision, and long-term durability.
Hardware and electronics are equally uncompromising: black hardware, a Floyd Rose Original double-locking tremolo, ESP strap locks, and locking tuners anchor rock-solid tuning stability. For sound, the classic EMG 81 in the bridge delivers focused aggression, while the EMG 89R in the necksplittable with reversed single-coil positioningadds versatile textures, all finished in brushed black chrome. An ESP form-fit case is included.
