Flying StringsPick-A-Partscores have been arranged byAudrey Akermanto create flexible options for young string ensembles.Pick-A-Partrepertoire can be assigned to any combination ofViolin, Viola, CelloandDouble Bassto support duets, trios, quartets, quintets or ensembles. Each score contains four parts for each instrument and the melody may be played by any instrument or string section. EachPick-A-Part score also contains a teachers piano accompaniment as well as a simpler student accompaniment to encourage collaborative student learning. All parts are colour-coded and are designed to make string ensemble playing engaging and enjoyable for young musicians and to create flexible options for teachers and conductors.
The set of 4 includes score and parts for all four pieces: Jigs Reels n Slides, Mozart Miniatures, Music for Christmas, and Renaissance Dances.
