OME Juniper 12″ 5-String Banjo – New

The OME Juniper is an elegant 12-inch open back with floral inlays that recall that ornamentation of the higher grade banjos of the 1890s. The neck is crafted from high-quality walnut and features an ebony fingerboard with 17 hardened nickel frets and an S-shaped frailing scoop. Like the neck, the rim is constructed from walnut and includes 14 brackets with an antique brass finish, a look that continues to the tension hoop and the Sweetone tailpiece. The banjo is fitted with Rickard Cyclone tuners with ebony buttons that have a 10:1 tuning ratio. The Juniper is finished in tung oil. The 12″ shell and rolled brass tone ring deliver a nice deep tone with plenty of banjo sparkle. Includes a hardshell case.
