The MESA/Boogie JP-2C Rack Mount is the ultimate tribute to the legendary MARK IIC+ , developed in close collaboration with John Petrucci after more than 30 years of intensive use and feedback. This is no ordinary signature amp; it’s Mesa’s first unlimited-production signature ampand one of the most complete MARK amps ever built.

The JP-2C is, at its core, a next-gen MARK IIC+: recognizably aggressive, tight, and incredibly dynamic, yet refined with modern functionality and ease of use. The rackmount version is perfect for professional rigs, studios, and MIDI-driven setups.

Three channels, one legendary DNA

All three channels are fully dedicated to the MARK IIC+ circuit:

• Channel 1 : Extremely clean with maximum headroom

• Channel 2 : Iconic IIC+ crunch tight, cutting and perfect for rhythm

• Channel 3 : Saturated lead tones with massive sustain and explosive attack

Both high-gain channels feature their own 5-band graphic EQ , something not possible on the original IIC+. This allows you to switch seamlessly between rhythm and lead sounds.

SHRED, power & control

Exclusive to the JP-2C is the SHRED mode , which adds extra harmonic layering and bite to channels 2 and 3. The 60/100-watt switchable Class A/B output stage delivers everything from tight punch to warm compression, precisely tuned for modern high-gain styles.
