ESP Alice Nine Saga Signature Bass Flame 2011 – Volcano Red

Here we have an awesome Alice Nine Saga Signature Bass from ESP! This is the “Flame” model, based off of the ESPAMAZE-ALR. It is from 2011 and in very good condition overall.

Featuresinclude an alder body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard and scorpion inlay. The scale length is 34″ and the nut width is 1.5″. It has a Hipshot brass bridge and Hipshot tuners with an E-string Xtender for drop D. It’s loaded withSeymour Duncan SJB-1n & SJB-2b pickups, and has a 3-band EQ with active electronics and a master volume. The bass can be set up as a top loader or a string through body.

This bass shows light signs of use and handling. There are light scratches on the pickup covers and the metal parts show light oxidation and pitting. There are other light topical marks, but no real dents or damage.

This one weighs 8lbs 11oz. The neck measures .790 to .910 at the 1st and 12th. It has an oval C neck profile that isn’t too big or too small, and feels quite familiar. The strings respond nicely under the right hand, and the instrument has a punchy sound off of the body with warm mids and good clarity. Overall a wonderfully-built instrument with a cool look.
