The “Old Smoothie” 40th anniversary bass is a faithful reproduction of prototype #26, which was developed by Sterling Ballduring the early years of MusicMan. Every detail was considered when developing this bass, the original 10 pole pickup, headstock and body shape and pick guard being incorporated, and the Mint green finish takes this bass to the next level.
Theone-of-a-kind custom made 10 pole pickup has a vintage powerhouse sound that delivers the classic stingray sound and the active pre-amp gives it a punch that cuts through any mix.
