Descended from the ubiquitous green, 80s-era overdrive pedal, the Scranton Screamer produces a familiar, tube-like clipping. That said, it distinguishes itself with an active 2-band EQ, which enables sound-shaping that goes beyond its predecessor. On top of that, a 2-way switch gives you the choice of green-sounding symmetrical clipping or yellow-sounding asymmetrical clipping. The Scranton Screamer is powered by a standard 9-volt center negative power supply it does not run on batteries.
