Description
Here we have the final prototype for the ‘Eastwood London Bass’ in Natural Mahogany finish . This is a one-of-one prototype in this finish.
The bass is in excellent shape, and was used for the demonstration videos of the final product. The bridge was moved slightly on this prototype, and the plugged holes are slightly visible at the back of the bridge.
“The Eastwood London Bass is a tribute to extremely rare and hard to find Dan Armstrong 1974 ‘Woody’ bass. Built to the same dimensions & specifications as an original example, we switched out the clunky sliding pickup of the original with 2 x humbuckers and added a Vol, Tone, Blend circuit and brought the scale length down to 32”.
