Gene Baker is no stranger to making high-level custom guitars. With a background that spans decades and includes working as a Senior Masterbuilder at Fender Custom Shop along with John Suhr, John Cruz, John Page and others, Gene’s experience shows in every instrument he builds. In 2003 Gene began to focus on building his own custom guitars and has been making gorgeous examples ever since! This Phoenix is a perfect storm of Tele and Firebird mashed together in one glorious design! Featuring a body and neck made from black limba and a trio of Lollar Firebird pickups, this is a monster guitar that is an absolutel pleasure to play!
