2014 Martin Grand J12-16GTE 12-String Acoustic Electric Guitar – Used

The Martin J12-16GTE is a dependable, stage-ready acoustic-electric 12-string. Built on the Grand Jumbo body with its 17″ lower bout, it delivers a big, powerful voice while still maintaining clarity. During this era, the 16 Series shared many core features with the 18 Series, like mahogany back and sides, and spruce tops, but paired them with simpler appointments such as black binding (with no purfling) and a simple dovetail neck joint. The GT stands for gloss top, while the back and sides have a satin finish. Electronics are the factory installed D-TAR Wavelength multi-source system, a piezo and internal mic blend designed by our late friend Rick Turner, which offers plenty of output and a nicely balanced tone. This is a solid, reliable 12-string with excellent projection and versatility. It one comes with its original hardshell case.
