The Gibson Les Paul is iconic in both sound and design. This first year series (2005-2009) of the Standard faded series in satin finish has been dubbed the ‘breathing guitar’ by players and collectors who prefer thelack of pore fillers and thick gloss. Model LP5F (Les Paul 50’s Faded) stamped in pickup cavity.
Body:Beautifully flamed maple top in Honey Burst finish. Mahogany slab body with carved maple top.
Neck:Mahogany neck with bound dark rosewood fingerboard, 1950’s neck profile.
Pickups/Hardware:Original PAF style Alnico V Burstbucker pickups #1 and #2 are strong at 7.63 (neck), and 8.23 (bridge), wound by PS. Handwired pots. Kluson tuners hold strong.
Cosmetic Condition:No breaks or cracks. Normal play wear on neck and top of body.
Playability:Guitar has been fully set up and intonated in shop. It plays beautifully with a straight neck.
