Here for your consideration is a 2003 Fender USA Stratosonic Dove II in excellent condition! Ever wonder what it would be like if you combined a Stratocaster and a Les Paul special? Well… it would be something like this! A very rare, short lived Fender model; the dual P90 “Stratosonic”. This is the American made version – not to be confused with the current Squier models. This is basically a Les Paul Special for those who prefer a Fender format; Gibson 24 3/4 scale length, two P90s with single vol/tone controls in a classic TV yellow finish to complete the look. This one is in excellent condition with only the very lightest of any signs of use. A small blemish on the rear of the neck behind the 9th-11th fret on the skunk strip but purely cosmetic (see photo). Some pickwear on the guard and some light scuffing but no chips or deep scratches. Pickguard has been upgraded to a one ply tortoise shell type but the original 3-ply BWB is included. Mahogany body with maple neck. Plays amazing! Has been fully inspected and set up by our tech and ready for a new home. Ships with Fender molded hardcase with original documentation.
