One of our favorite ’90s signature models for one of our all-time favorite shredders; this is a 1996 Ibanez John Petrucci JPM100 with the first edition P1 design. The guitar is in players condition rather than collectors; there’s a professionally repaired headstock where the work is visible but very sturdy. There are a few chips in the paint down to the primer on the right side of the body, and some chips on the bass side which have been filled in with black paint to blend in. There’s chipped finish around the tremolo route and some lacquer checking across the body. The tremolo arm insert assembly has recently been replaced with genuine Ibanez parts. It plays wonderfully with minimal fretwear and includes the original case with the Ibanez certificate of authenticity signed by John Petrucci.
