Traditional tonewoods include a two-piece carved maple top, mahogany body, and one-piece mahogany neck capped with a bound ebony fretboard, and this Les Paul Custom weighs 10lbs 14oz, yielding plenty of natural sustain and glassy treble cut. The 490R and 498T humbuckers have a wide tonal palette, with the Alnico II magnets in the neck pickup offering more chime and warmth, while the Alnico V bridge pickup has a cut and snarl that delivers classic Gibson roar. This Les Paul Custom has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mikes Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
