W. SEIFERT #130 VIOLA BOW

This viola bow is stamped W-Seifert & is made from good quality pernambucco. It has an octagonal stick & has silver wire lapping. It has an ebony frog & is nickel-silver mounted with a mother of pearl Parisian eye. This bow has a silver ferrule & a button in three parts with two parts silver & one-part ebony.

This viola bow has a strong stick that is well-balanced & boasts superb control, facilitating more complex strokes such as spiccato, ricochet & sautill. The high quality pernambucco used for this bow results in a full sound with good projection & resonance. This bow would be suitable for tertiary level study and the advanced musician.
