Eko was one of the largest instrument manufacturers in Europe during the 1960s. Based in Italy and originally known for producing accordions, Eko began making guitars in the late 1950s and quickly grew into a major European builder, crafting instruments for brands like Vox, Welson, and Goya. Visually striking and highly original compared to their American counterparts, Eko guitars offered a unique feel and a distinct sound unlike most instruments of the era. The result is a range of guitars and basses with looks and tones found nowhere elseone of the reasons they remain so highly sought-after by collectors today.
