This set features Alnico 5 magnets and 42awg heavy Formvar wire on the neck pickup. Meanwhile, the bridge pickup uses flat top vintage stagger Alnico 5 magnets and 42awg plain enamel wire. It is reverse-wound, reverse-polarity (RWRP) for hum canceling capability. Handbuilt and handwound here at our shop, then wax potted to reduce noise. Wrapped in heavy duty black twine with brushed nickel cover and brushed copper base plate.
