In honor of their 50th Anniversary in 2024, Taylor introduced a Limited Edition of the GS Mini-e with a sunburst top and rosewood back and sides. The model was so popular Taylor introduced a variation as part of the standard line. Like the limited edition, the GS Mini-e Rosewood has torrefied Sitka spruce top, which gives this guitar a clear, focused tone with a strong treble response. Its fitted with an ES-B pickup system and includes a tan structured gig bag.

The GS Mini is available in a number of acoustic or acoustic-electric configurations. The tops are all made of solid tonewoods and include spruce, mahogany or koa. The back and sides are made of layered tonewoods and include sapele, koa and rosewood. They all have different tonal personalities but the finger-friendly 23 1/2 inch scale and easy string action are consistent throughout the line.
