It’s not too often that we come across 50 year old Gibsons this nice, but we struck gold on this one! A beautiful Les Paul Standard Goldtop from 1968 or early 1969 with a chunky neck and a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. It has a 1 piece body, 1 piece neck and a small headstock and the pots date to the last couple weeks of ’68. The top (ONLY) has been refinished beautifully in a period correct color. Aside from that and the changed Grover tuners, the guitar appears to be all original and in excellent overall condition for its age and it comes in a period correct square Gibson case (handle is loose).
