The Fender Blues Junior is one of the longest running and best-selling amps out there – not just for Fender, or even tubes amps specifically, but just amps in general. There’s a reason for this….actually, more than a few reasons! The tone comes first, but it’s also the versatility,portability and of course affordability that make it a favorite.
The Blues Jr. Lacquered Tweed takes Fender’s 15W gem and gives it the vintage treatment with a lacquered tweed covering and a vintage-voiced speaker. Its golden tones are generated by an all-tube signal path using a pair of EL84 output tubes and 3 – 12AX7 preamp tubes. Add renowned Fender reverb, flexible controls, FAT switch for mid boost, and you’re in business.
To make it a bit more special, this one is a Limited Edition version with an Eminence Cannabis Rex speaker in it. Clean and full, with lots of body and sparkle, it really lets your playing style come through in a transparent manner. Smokey smooth with high end definition. It’s great for clean playing, but also for overdriven tones and perfect for effects pedals.
