Pre-Owned 2004 Fender Custom Shop Relic ’69 Pink Paisley Telecaster With OHSC

Here’s an opportunity to own one of the first Pink Paisley Tele’s that the Fender Custom Shop did. Made in 2004, apparently this was part of the first run, and only 4 made their way to England. This is one of them. The original owner decided to part with it in favor of a brand new Custom Shop build with different specs, so this is the first time it’s been available on the market.
The neck is super comfortable to play, with a classic 60’s neck shape, but with a little bit extra meat. It’s also nice and light, which will make it a breeze to play standing up all night. The 60’s Tele pickups provide a warmth that is a great match for the snappy tone provided by the maple neck.
While officially a Relic designation, it’s more of a light Relic, and not too far from what Fender now calls the Journeyman Relic finish. It’s a perfect amount of aging – it’s worn in, but not abused.
The guitar comes with the original hardshell case, but no COA (the original owner left it back in England). We’ve verified the authenticity. A new one of these with the same specs would run nearly $4500, so this is a great chance to get one for way less.
