The Taylor Academy 10 has a scaled down Dreadnought silhouette, which produces a rich, full sound in an easy to hold package. It has a slightly shorter 24 7/8-inch scale length, a narrower 1 11/16-inch nut width, and its voiced for light gauge strings, all of which make this guitar easy on your fretting fingers. The Academy 10 has a solid Sitka spruce top, layered sapele back and sides, and, this is really cool, a built-in armrest that softens the edge of the bodys bass-side lower bout to enhance the playing comfort. Includes a padded gig bag.
