A true Strat from the Fender factory in California, the Fender American Performer Stratocaster RW Honey Burst represents classic single-coil tones. Equipped with three Yosemite single-coil pickups with stepped pole pieces that are specially wound for warm and expressive sounds, the American Performer Strat produces a lively sound balanced across the strings. The tone control plays a special role in this Strat. Not only does it offer a classic treble roll-off with the Greasebucket Tone Circuit, without adding bass to the signal, but also a push/pull function for activating the neck pickup in any switching position. The Fender American Performer Stratocaster RW Honey Burst includes a gig bag.

Designed specifically for the American Performer Series, the Yosemite Single Coils follow the traditional Fender single-coil design and deliver the coveted sounds of the Fifties and Sixties in neck, mid and bridge positions. The result is a versatile single-coil sound with dynamic response. Last but not least, the push/pull function of the second tone control allows the neck pickup to be switched in any position for warm neck sounds.
