Up for sale, a 2006 Gibson Custom Shop Limited Edition John Sykes Signature Les Paul Custom VOS in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case, CoA, hangtags, and case candy. This Gibson Custom, Art & Historic model, from a limited run of 200 guitars (100 VOS, 100 Aged), was designed as faithful recreations of Sykes legendary 78 Les Paul Custom, which he used throughout his time with Thin Lizzy and Whitesnake. Distinctive features include the silver mirrored pickguard, chrome hardware (including the pickup rings and switch surround), brass nut, Dirty Fingers humbucker in the bridge position, and VOS Ebony nitro lacquer finish.

Traditional tonewoods include a solid mahogany body with a carved maple top, three-piece maple neck, and bound ebony fingerboard, and this John Sykes Signature Les Paul Custom weighs 9lbs 12oz. The 57 Classic PAF humbucker in the neck position delivers a layered, sweet quality with spongy low end and great treble bloom. Extremely potent and geared for heavy gain, the Dirty Fingers humbucker at the bridge yields plenty of treble growl, thick bark and focused low end punch. And just like Sykes original instrument, the bridge humbucker is wired without a Tone control, enabling maximum potency. This Custom, Art & Historic Limited Edition John Sykes Signature VOS Les Paul Custom has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mikes Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
