The PRS SE Custom 24 Semi-Hollow Piezo is a highly sophisticated and incrediblyversatile instrument. A solidbody guitar with a maple top, mahogany back, dual humbuckers, and the patented PRS tremolo, the Custom 24 is the original PRS design firstintroduced in 1985. This semi-hollow version adds natural resonance and a vibrant,organic tone.

The humbuckers in this model are PRS 85/15 S pickups, which can be tapped via thepush/pull tone control for more sounds. The addition of the LR Baggs/PRS Piezo system furthers the instruments versatility by offering electric and acoustic tones in oneguitar. The PRS SE Custom 24 Semi-Hollow Piezo is designed with two discrete volumecontrols (magnetics and piezo) and output jacks (mix/piezo and magnetics). Playerscan plug into the Mix/Piezo jack and use the individual volume controls to blend the85/15 S pickups with the piezos acoustic tones. Alternatively, players can plug intothe jacks separately, so the guitar can run magnetic pickups into an amp and run thepiezo through an acoustic amp or DI into the soundboard. When using the magneticoutput jack in isolation, the piezo battery is bypassed completely, acting as a failsafe(in this scenario, the magnetic pickups still work even if the piezo battery has run outof juice).

Additional details include a matching headstock veneer, headstock and fretboardbinding, and lampshade knobs. With nearly infinite tones and roadworthy reliability,the PRS SE Custom 24 Semi-Hollow Piezo is a modern classic that looks and feels asgood as it sounds.
