Boasting neck-through construction, this Rhoads has great natural sustain and resonance, providing an ideal platform for the pickup pair. The Seymour Duncan humbuckers include an SH-2 Jazz at the neck and TB-4 JB Trembucker at the bridge. Heralded as one of Seymour Duncan’s most versatile humbuckers, the SH-2 features an Alnico V bar magnet and special coil wind for glassy trebles and focused bass with scooped mids. The TB-4 (JB) is the original hot-rodded humbucker, delivering a rich, versatile tone with full and powerful lows, crisp and detailed highs, and an upper-midrange bump that adds crunch and chunk to heavy chords and translates to a singing, vocal-like quality for melodic playing.
