Spectors legacy began in a small woodshop in Brooklyn, NY, in 1976. Our founder, Stuart Spector, was driven by a conviction to build instruments that emphasized craftsmanship, playability, and heirloom-level quality. Today, we proudly carry on that tradition in every bass we create at our Custom Shop, now located just outside Woodstock, NY.
