This late ’33 / early ’34 L-C delivers that quintessential dry, woody “thump” of a pre-war Gibson. The high end dressed up maple variant of the popular L00. Adirondack top & Maple back/sides. As far as I can tell it remains all original and boasts exceptional geometry, playing with low action and spot-on intonation across the board.
Structural & Condition Notes:
Top cracks have been properly addressed; a few back braces currently need regluing. Frets are worn but even with some life left.
Transparency Note: A thorough inspection revealed a scrape or stress crack at the heel. It isn’t readily visible, but the joint is structurally solid and the neck angle is fantastic.
Offered at an aggressive discount as a legitimate “player grade” vintage piece.
An honest, incredible-sounding pre-war Gibson for the serious player. Comes with 6 latch TKL case. I believe the FON reads 741 or 743 the last digit is tricky to see clearly
