By 1990, Ferrari was continuing to evolve its lineup, with models like the 512 TR and the upcoming 456 GT taking shape. However, the 348 remained a defining example of the brand’s mid-engine V8 formula, carrying forward the lineage established by the 308 and 328 before it.
Available in three configurations, the GTB (coupe), Spider (convertible) and TS (targa), the 348 has aged iconically wellknown to some as the baby Testarossa, due to the similar cheese grater like features on the doors and rear end. However, unlike the Testarossa, it is an incredibly well-balanced sports car and was the Ferrari model that kickstarted the Ferrari Challenge racing series. The 348 is also the last truly analog Ferrari. With no power steering or traction control, it is a real drivers car.
Our 1990 Ferrari 348 TS is finished in its original configuration of Nero over Nero leather, configuration and has gone only 36k miles since new. While not perfect, it is a wonderful example of a driver caliber 348, and is without a doubt a vintage Ferrari that is appreciating in both value and collectability.
