Built in the versatile Grand Auditorium body style, it pairs Indian rosewood back and sides with an Engelmann spruce top, a tonewood combination long cherished for its deep, warm low end, shimmering highs, and lush, blooming overtones.
Like its Legacy counterparts, the 914ce features traditional X-bracing enhanced with subtle modern refinements for exceptional responsiveness and effortless playability, including Taylors contemporary neck profile. Refined visual appointments include green abalone top purfling and rosette, rosewood binding, gold hardware, a full-body gloss finish, and graceful Cindy inlaysnamed for and inspired by Bob Taylors wife. Outfitted with LR Baggs Element VTC electronics, the Legacy 914ce ships in a deluxe hardshell case, ready for stage or studio.
