About the luthier
Jonas Anatol Schneele discovered his passion for guitar making early on as an enthusiastic guitarist. After completing an apprenticeship as a carpenter, he followed his fascination for wood and sound and trained as a plucked instrument maker at the technical college in Mittenwald, graduating in 2007. From 2013 to 2016, he deepened his knowledge of acoustics, restoration, innovative construction techniques, and musical instrument design through further studies at the College of Musical Instrument Construction in Markneukirchen. In 2017, he successfully completed his master craftsmans examination in Mittenwald. Today, Jonas Schneele is one of the promising new generation of German luthiers, known for his precision craftsmanship, balanced tonal aesthetics, and thoughtful innovations.
